DENVER – (October 17, 2018) – Grane Rx announces a significant expansion in the form of a new pharmacy to meet the growing needs of PACE (Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) organizations and other special need populations throughout the central and western United States. The new Grane Rx pharmacy is located in Denver, in response to the growing demand for PACE pharmacy services.
PACE is an innovative model of care benefiting older individuals (55 and older) who are nursing home eligible but want to remain at home. The program provides an integrated approach to health care by providing coordinated high-quality, personalized care for all participants.
“PACE is growing across the United States and opening a new pharmacy in Denver will broaden our footprint,” said Robert Rowland, President and Chief Operating Officer. “Our state-of-the-art facility will allow us to better serve a new population of PACE participants west of the Mississippi and complements our Eastern Division pharmacy located in Pittsburgh, with both delivering prompt and efficient access to medications.”
Grane Rx offers PACE organizations the latest pharmacy advancements that focus on improving their operational, clinical, and financial success. Providing pharmacy services in partnership with some of the largest PACE organizations in the nation has facilitated pharmacy expansion with planned strategies for growth.
Grane Rx leads the field in PACE pharmacy technology, delivering measurable clinical impacts in PACE centers with access to their innovative Medication Insights platform. This platform offers providers decision support to help prescribe optimal medications for participants.
Medication Insights’ patented technology captures almost 37 percent more drug-to-drug and drug-to-gene interactions. This, in turn, helps to control costs and improve outcomes.
“We are continually looking to advance our offerings and expand into new markets,” Rowland said. “We look forward to bringing our expertise to the unique medication needs of seniors to PACE organizations all across the United States.”
